What are Interactive sites?

Interactive websites are an engaging way to present content. They give students a chance to interact with information and manipulate the pace and style in which they learn. Some interactive sites can be customized to their user, while others simply give the opportunity to explore information.

How can I be creative with interactive sites?

When constructing an interactive website, creativity is a must. Building an interactive site comes with many choices and lots of creative freedom. You can choose and alter the appearance, the information and how it is organized, the links attached, and how you want information seen and percieved.

As a student or hobbyist exploring interactive sites, you have total control over how you experience the information. You are able to choose what you want to learn and what path you want to take to get there! Some sites even customize their content to your profile or location.

Tips

- Give users options and freedom

- Creative rollover links, so users get a preview to the link before clicking

- Watch tutorials for your particular site to understand all the unique tools

- Customize content to your student's needs and objectives
